Area: Judea from Hebron to Nablus, Ramle to Lydda, Jordan Valley, er-Reina near Nazareth, Trans-Jordan.
SM10: Nablus, er-Reina.
SM9: i'billin - er-Reina, Sebastiya - Lubban, er-Ram, Abu Dis, Lydda, es-Salt (local), Umm Rawa (Yarmuk Valley).
SM7-8: Southern Coastal plain, Negev, coastal plain from Herzliya to Haifa, Lebanon, Eastern Trans-Jordan.
Total casualties: about 500 persons killed; 350 severely injured in Palestine, and 360 in Trans-Jordan.

Rockfalls or Landslides on Jerusalem-Jericho Road at kilometers 7.9, 8.1, 27.3, 29.4. Allenby Bridge damaged. Clefts in ground in Jordan-Valley.

Flow of River Jordan stopped for 21.5 hours owing to a landslide at Jisr ed-Damiye. [42]
