Sage Butter Pasta Sauce
Flavorful, reasonably light accent to any pasta shape. The crisp sage leaves provide a powerful taste.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 Yellow Onion
1 big clove Garlic
4 Tablespoons Butter
1 small Granny Smith Apple
Fresh Lemon Juice (about 1 lemon)
1/2 bunch fresh sage from Yasai Produce Market (~1-2 T)
Pine Nuts
Pepper
Fresh Parmesan for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Chop Apple into small bits (optionally, peel first).
Marinate Apple in Lemon Juice and set aside.
Chop Onions into small bits.
Melt Butter in small pan.
Saute Garlic and Onions.
Add Pine Nuts and Sage, and Pepper into hot butter.
Cook until Sage is crisp and dark.

Toss with Apples and pour over pasta.
